Imogen Poots, 19

Background Information

Born in 1989, Imogen Poots is the daughter of Trevor and Fiona Poots. She attended Queen's Gate School for Girls and Latymer Upper School, the alma mater of Alan Rickman, Hugh Grant, and Lily Cole. She is a model for Select Model Management.

Career

In 2004, she appeared in the TV series Casualty (episode: Love Bites). She played the young Valerie in 2006's V for Vendetta alongside Natalie Portman, Steven Fry, and John Hurt. In 2007, she played a variety of roles: Tammy, the daughter of Robert Carlyle, in the film 28 Weeks Later; Jane in the short film Wish; and Fanny in the TV film Miss Austen Regrets. In 2008 she played Alexis in Waking Madison.

She has several projects lined up for the coming years: Sara Samuels in Me and Orson Welles (2009) alongside Zac Efron and Claire Danes; Cracks (2009) alongside Eva Green and Juno Temple; and Solitary Man (2009) as Allyson Langer.
