2005-2008: Narnia
Anna's first major role came in the 2005 feature film adaptation of CS Lewis' most beloved story, The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, as the bossy and smart Susan, the second-eldest of the Pevensie children. Anna recieved critical acclaim for her portrayal of Susan. She starred alongside William Moseley, Skandar Keynes, Georgie Henley, James McAvoy, Liam Neeson, and Tilda Swinton, amongst others.
Anna reprised her role of Susan in the 2008 sequel, Prince Caspian, in which she had a larger role to play, which included a romance with the title character, played by Ben Barnes.
Though Prince Caspian marked Anna's official departure from the Narnia film series, it is rumored she may be considered to play the adult version of Susan in The Horse and His Boy, depending on her age at the time of filming.
